History
History
GOD planted a seed in Dr. Juanita A. W. Harrison, Senior Pastor of Bethesda Baptist Church. That seed planted was destined to bring forth a living organism; with intent and specificity to equip disciples to walk in their first calling; that of a disciple.
The seed was nurtured and at the God ordained time, in the year 2011 the seed sprang forth, revealing the Bethesda Baptist Church Training and Enrichment Institute.
July 2011 marked the commencement of the first session of the Bethesda Baptist Church Training and Enrichment Institute.
September 2019 gave birth to Track 3; geared towards young adults as well as others who have a desire for genuine relationship with GOD and GOD’S people, as well as wanting to be aware, prepared, and have hands on experience in being used of GOD to minister in the context of modern society.
T&EI Tracks
T&EI Tracks
God has blessed the Training and Enrichment Institute (T&EI). We have been blessed to offer classes for 11 consecutive years, to include offering a totally virtually session via Zoom during 2020 - 2021 and 2021 - 2022.
Currently, one track is offered per T&EI calendar Year.
- Track 1 - is intentionally geared to equip disciples to live in purpose; equipping them to live a life of integrity, being thoroughly equipped to live a life of discipleship as GOD has purposed them.
- Track 2 - is designed for individuals who have successfully completed Track 1. Track 2 provides biblical understanding of ministry and the functioning of the church as the body of CHRIST.
- Track 3 - is geared towards young adults as well as others who have a desire for genuine relationship with GOD and GOD’S people, as well as wanting to be aware, prepared, and have hands on experience in being used of GOD to minister in the context of modern society. At the first offering of Track 3 the students ages ranged from 13 – 60 and older.

Our First Completely Virtual Track
The Word of God, in Matthew 28:19, 20 sets forth the Great Commission, whereby disciples of Jesus are to "Go and make disciples of all nations". Surely, a pandemic could not hinder the Great Commission.
God blessed the T&EI facilitators with the skills and ability to continue "equipping the saints to live in purpose"; as the 2020 - 2021 T&EI class virtually logged into classes each Monday during the entirety of Track 3 and T&EI facilitators being prepared, shared God inspired lessons for each class in the Track.
